WPWAF Hosts Hanbat National University Delegation on AI Robot Technology

Today, the World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation warmly hosted a student delegation from Hanbat National University, South Korea, at the AI World in I-City, Shah Alam, Selangor. The delegation participated in an in-depth exchange and experiential event centered on artificial intelligence and intelligent robotics technology. This visit not only promoted international academic exchange but also further advanced the integration and development of AI technology in education and public welfare.

The event was organized by the World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation and co-organized by the Malaysia Volunteer Association. The visit took place at I-City AI World. UCSI University led a group of 14 students from Hanbat National University, accompanied by representatives from relevant organizations. They gained deep insights into the latest advancements in AI technology applications in smart cities, education, industry, and social sectors, and personally experienced several interactive intelligent robot projects.

The World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation placed great importance on this international exchange event. Attending representatives included the Foundation’s founder, Rich Voon; co-founder and Director of the International Department, Bu Fan; Director of the Technology Department, Rex Voon; Director of Education Development, Mr. Jeffery Siew; and representatives from the Malaysia Volunteer Association, I-City Marketing Manager Lewis Lim and Officer Sales & Marketing Syahira Aqilah. In his welcome speech, Rich Voon stated that artificial intelligence has become a vital driving force for social progress, and young talents are the core of future technological innovation. The Foundation hopes to build an international exchange platform to help students from different countries broaden their technological horizons and cultivate a new generation of talents with international competitiveness and social responsibility.

Representing I-City was Mr. Bu Fan, who introduced the development blueprint and core technological content of AI World. He pointed out that I-City AI World is dedicated to creating an integrated platform combining technology exhibits, educational experiences, and industrial applications, allowing the public and students to engage closely with cutting-edge AI and robotics technologies, thereby inspiring innovative thinking and learning interest.

UCSI University also strongly supported this event, with attendees including Senior Manager of Global Engagement Office Han Ii Kwang, Open Distant Learning Director Mohzanuddin Bin Zaharin, and Senior Oracle Apex Developer Rex Voon. The UCSI representatives expressed that exchanges and cooperation between multinational universities help students broaden their global perspective and create more collaborative opportunities for regional higher education and technological development.

During the visit, Hanbat National University students showed great interest in the intelligent robots, automation systems, and immersive technology experiences showcased at AI World. They actively interacted and communicated with onsite staff. The student representatives said that the visit not only deepened their understanding of the practical applications of AI technology but also provided valuable inspiration for their future academic research and career planning.

At the conclusion of the event, representatives from all parties took a group photo to mark the successful conclusion of this meaningful international technology exchange. The World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation stated that it will continue to promote similar international exchange programs in the future, collaborating with educational institutions and technology platforms to jointly create broader development opportunities in technology education, youth development, and social welfare.
