Strengthening Cultural Ties to Drive Economic Collaboration
In his keynote address, Founding President and Honorary Dean Lee Yong Kwee emphasized the importance of leveraging shared cultural heritage to deepen ties between Malaysia and China. He highlighted that culture is not only a foundation of identity but also a vital bridge for economic cooperation.

He further encouraged the Malaysian Chinese community to capitalize on their linguistic and cultural advantages to act as a bridge between enterprises from both countries. He also urged young entrepreneurs to embrace opportunities in the digital economy and cross-border e-commerce, and to adopt innovative approaches to remain competitive in the global market.

Public Welfare as a Catalyst for Sustainable Partnership
Founder of the World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation, Mr. Rich Voon, highlighted the deep-rooted historical and ancestral ties between Malaysian Chinese and China, noting that such bonds foster mutual understanding and shared values.

“In today’s interconnected world, these ties should be translated into meaningful collaboration,” he said. “By building platforms across public welfare, education, and business sectors, we can promote sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.”

He also emphasized the crucial role of public welfare in uniting communities. Looking ahead, the Foundation will actively promote Malaysia-China youth exchange programs, cultural and artistic initiatives, and corporate social responsibility projects, ensuring that economic development progresses alongside social impact.
